Help Serve Refugee Families in Italy
GapFill.org is partnering with the International Church in Verona, Italy, led by Pastor Titi Chirila, to serve the rapidly growing immigrant and refugee population in northern Italy.
Pastor Chirila and his church come highly recommended by a Christian missionary currently serving in Sicily, who has worked closely with him and described his ministry as having done “an amazing job.” The International Church in Verona has already been faithfully serving people from many nations—men, women, and families seeking a better future in Europe.
To expand this work and respond more effectively to urgent needs, the church is believing God for a permanent facility: the Heart of the Mission Center.
The Vision
The Heart of the Mission Center will be a multipurpose ministry building, designed to serve both foreigners and local Italians alike. It will function as:
A place of Christian worship
A gospel outreach center to the streets of Verona
A discipleship and training center to equip believers for ministry
A refugee and humanitarian support center
Often, people’s first encounter with Christians comes through a need for practical help—social, medical, or everyday assistance that marginalized individuals struggle to access on their own. Our prayer is that every person who enters this center will encounter not only compassion and hospitality, but also the truth of God’s Word demonstrated in both word and deed.
Through these experiences, the Lord has placed a clear missionary vision in the hearts of the International Church in Verona: to expand their ministry and become more effective in reaching those who are hurting, displaced, and searching for hope.
The Need
Plans have been drawn, renovations modeled, and the vision is ready to move forward. To secure the building, $130,000 USD is needed for the down payment—approximately 20% of the total cost.
GapFill.org is partnering with Pastor Titi Chirila and the International Church in Verona to help raise these funds. Pastor Chirila is also raising support locally and plans to travel throughout Italian-speaking Switzerland to share the vision.
Once established, the sustainability of the center will be fully carried by the International Church in Verona, which already supports and serves many refugees today. This facility will allow them to do so more efficiently and with greater impact.
How You Can Help
Raising $130,000 is a significant goal—but we believe we serve a great God who has birthed this vision and will faithfully provide.
We invite believers from around the world to join this work:
By giving financially—every gift, large or small, makes a difference
By praying for Pastor Chirila, the church, and the many lives that will be touched
By standing in unity and faith, trusting God to use this center as a beacon of hope in Verona and beyond
Together, we can help reach the many hurting and lost souls who pass through Verona—and together, we will rejoice as God is glorified.
Can you help us reach this goal?
Please keep this project and all involved in your prayers, trusting that the Lord will provide the resources and support needed to make this vision a reality.
