Christian Project Needs

Worship Music Need for Underground Church by gapfillorgblog

I would like to introduce you to the Stanfields. They have been missionaries with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) since 2001. They were introduced to us through missionaries Kay and John West. Read about them on our missionaries tab. Kevin and Tonya Stanfield currently have a “café building project” going up in an undisclosed area in South Africa. This will not only be a place to build relationships and share the light and love of Jesus with the Muslim population but will also be the first and only meeting place for the underground church in this country!

Christians in the area are currently working on a new worship album in their native language. This will be a tool both for the underground church and a way to share Jesus with everyone! Click here to donate to this “Worship Music Need for Underground Church”.

Thank you again for your consideration in this worthwhile project need.

We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers.

Help Build a School Pavilion in Liberia by gapfillorgblog

The site where the pavilion will be built.

Site where pavilion will be built.

A new project was added to the GapFill.org website that I wanted to share with you. The project will help build a pavilion in Liberia at the Mission of Hope School. Liberia is one of the most impoverished nations in the world. The Liberian education system is still emerging from a prolonged and brutally destructive period of civil unrest. For over 3 years, the Zion Hill Baptist Church of Atlanta Georgia continues to sponsor a full, healthy meal program at the Mission of Hope School in Liberia. The children are fed breakfast and lunch five days a week and even during the summer breaks. The meals continue to make a great impact and they see improvement in grades, health, behavior and attention span.

Their current challenge is the lack of a cafeteria or large assembly facility on the campus. As a result, the students eat outside on the ground under the trees or stand while eating in rainy season and dry season. Since July 2021, it was decided to embark upon the construction of a Pavilion that could be used as a multi-purpose facility for eating, general assembly and meetings.

GapFill.org has partnered with International Christian Fellowship Ministries of Atlanta to help in the construction. Rev. Maryalice Omokeye Moses, who is overseeing this project, is currently at the Mission of Hope School in Liberia to get the project started before the rainy season in May begins. The construction cost of the Pavilion is $25,000. $7,000 has been raised already with an additional need of $18,000 remaining.

Please review the various types of material that is needing to be purchased. From bags of cement ($10 per bag) to truck loads of bricks ($1,000 per truck load) and lots of items in between. No gift is too small (or large 😊)

Thank you again for your consideration in this worthwhile project need.

We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers.

Before The Year Is Over...Thank You! by gapfillorgblog

I cannot put into words how blessed I feel to be part of this GapFill community who all feel such a passion for Christian mission work. I do not believe you will truly know the impact you have had this side of heaven on Christian missionary’s lives, and for that I humbly thank you. Some of that impact this year was...

Phil Carr’s Medical Needs

Phil has come so far since medevaced out of Papua New Guinea in January 2021. First to Australia then to his homeland of New Zealand. The community of believers, many having never met Phil, quickly joined in praying, giving, and coming alongside the Carr family. What a year it has been as you stood beside Chris, his wife, as I can only imagine was taking it one day at a time. Praise God that Phil continued to make progress throughout the year and is now standing.

Chris sends periodic updates which you can find on Phil’s webpage.

Victims of Human Trafficking

As they renovate an acquired site in Los Angeles to create a home for victims, all plans have been submitted and they are currently waiting on the permits to be approved.

Mission School Needs

When the school was shut down due to COVID, the teachers went door to door delivering food and supplies as most families had none. They opened for the 2021/2022 school year and they “Praise God for His manifold blessings upon them throughout the year.”

As we reflect on this past year and its challenges, it can be easy to get discouraged. But, because we put our faith in Jesus, we can choose to hope in the midst of the challenges.

May the heart of Jesus bless you with His eternal love in 2022 … and always!

We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers.

Can you Help Further God's Work - One Gap at a Time? 🙏 by gapfillorgblog

After a long time of the COVID pandemic lockdowns, the world is beginning to slowly open up and Christian missionaries are back traveling, teaching, ministering and distributing the gospel again.  GapFill.org remains actively working with Christian missionaries.  We have continued through the pandemic assisting Christian missionaries with food distributions, refugee support along with medical needs for Christian missionaries themselves. All this is only possible through the many GapFill.org donors.  For that we are grateful and thank you most sincerely.

We wanted to let you know that GapFill just added two new projects to its website.  See below for details.  Both are such worthwhile projects for spreading the message of Jesus to the unreached.  Please feel free to email joyceturner@gapfill.org on these projects or any projects on the website.  Many projects are sensitive and not all information can be shared via the web.

Help Sent a Needed Van to Nigeria

GapFill.org is partnering with students at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts to get a van loaded with donated clothes to Nigeria before the winter. We are currently looking for a used van to purchase (or someone to donate it 😊).

Help Setup Christian Mini-Libraries

To help spread the Gospel message of Jesus, GapFill.org has partnered with a Christian missionary in an international mission organization to set up small libraries in remote areas of South Asia. This project will provide small “mini libraries” with between 25-50 books, including Bibles and New Testaments.
